
Wayne retired from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police as Assistant Commissioner after 33 years of service.
During his extensive policing career, Wayne worked in various parts of Canada, gaining experience in a wide variety of operational roles. Wayne later became the Officer in Charge of the VIP Protection Program for Canada. In this role he was responsible for the personal protection of the Prime Minister of Canada and his family and for the protection of visiting Heads of State and Heads of Government. This position also had responsibility for planning and implementing security for all Major Events across Canada.
Wayne’s second area of expertise is in white collar crime where he specialized in investigations in the areas of fraud and fraudulent bankruptcies.
As Assistant Commissioner, Wayne was in charge of the Foreign Liaison Program overseeing RCMP offices in 32 countries around the world.
Wayne was also Head of Interpol for Canada.
Since retirement Wayne has performed investigations and security surveys for the Government of Canada and the Province of Ontario.
