Maria spent 17 years working in a variety of roles related to project and programme management.   Seven years were spent managing a portfolio of overseas development projects for clients ranging from the Department for International Development and European Union to the World Bank and Asian Development Bank.  Her responsibilities spanned project identification and design work, through to the management of delivery and ongoing risk management for projects as diverse as Social Safety Net, Education Reform, Security and Justice.  She also had responsibility for the recruitment, selection and management of technical resources and support functions.

Maria then spent a further five years in senior training posts, first as Head of Training for a large department of project staff worldwide and subsequently as Training Manager for an I.T. based organisational change programme affecting over 7,000 staff in over 100 countries.  She also has a successful track record in the development of needs analysis, design, delivery and evaluation of training strategies and solutions.

Since 2005, Maria has developed a successful track record working as an independent consultant delivering diverse assignments in the fields of training and management information and other business support systems for clients in the public, private and third sectors.   Maria speaks fluent English, proficient German and basic Russian.
