Dr Linda S Spedding has extensive experience over 27 years of legal practice, research, writing and projects concerning national, European and international law.

Her work experience covers commercial law, corporate advice, contracts, consultancy agreements, project finance, due diligence, joint ventures and technology transfer. She has thorough and extensive knowledge of comparative regulatory regimes, both within and outside the EU, including Central Europe, India and the USA. Linda set up her own practice while remaining a consultant to various international law firms and institutions. She holds an LL.B. (Hons), LL.M. and Ph.D and is almost uniquely qualified to practice in three countries - she is a Solicitor (England &Wales), Advocate (India) and an Attorney (USA). Linda is also member of various professional bodies including The International Bar Association, The American Bar Association, New York Bar, the Bar of New Delhi, United Kingdom Environmental Lawyers' Association.

In addition, Linda has worked as an international advisor to many commercial and professional bodies, both in the private and public sector on various aspects of business activity, including business intelligence, risk and security consulting, as well as Cyber forensics and electronic discovery. She has held various high profile appointments including International advisor on Economic Crime to New Scotland Yard, Adviser and Program Director of Dow Jones India Summit and Director at Women in Law among others.

As an international lawyer, business adviser, Linda provides an ideal combination as a practitioner and adviser, and has a substantial reputation as an author and lecturer. She has authored many articles and several law guides for the professional and business audience. She was awarded the Alexander Maxwell Law Scholarship Trust Award in 1995-1996 and her recent handbook on sustainable risk management has been nominated for an award.
