Law Enforcement
Overview What we can do

Law enforcement is a generic term covering a broad range of agencies charged by legislation to preserve the peace and uphold the law at various levels. However, law enforcement agencies in many countries consist of a statutory police force or more commonly today, a police service. The main drivers in policing development are the operational needs of the relevant police service, coupled with citizen focused service delivery at all levels.

Because of the scale of responsibilities, many law enforcement agencies are divided up into areas of operational responsibility, usually based around operational policing, crime investigation and intelligence, counter-terrorism and community policing.

Each of these areas makes a critical contribution to the safety and security of countries. It is therefore vital that the law enforcement effort is fit for purpose in achieving its objectives.

  • We provide people who have a very wide experience of planning, leading and delivering policing systems, reform programmes, strategies and initiatives, both in the UK and overseas.

  • We help in the development of systems that will monitor and evaluate progress in all of these areas.
