Dominique Gesqua
French Military & Security Advisor
Overview

Dominque Gesqua served in the French military as an officer with the French Special Forces, where he acquired expertise in parachuting, scuba diving, explosives, special weapons & tactics and close combat. He also worked closely with the the Groupe d'Intervention de la Gendarmerie Nationale (GIGN), the French Gendarmerie's elite counter-terrorism and hostage rescue unit, as well as the Groupe de Sécurité de la Présidence de la République (GSPR), the unit that provides the close physical protection of the President of France. Dominique was trained and mentored by Christian Prouteau, Prefect and Colonel, who led the security for President Francois Mitterand for 14 years.

Since leaving the military, Dominique has worked as a security advisor in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He has also been in charge of the security of many prominent business men and leaders including Boris Berezowski, Richard Steers and Hank McKinnel, successive CEO’s of Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, New York and Aslan Abachidze, Governor of Algaria.

Dominique has an Economics degree (with Marketing and Business Management) from the La Varenne University, Paris. He is fluent in French and English
