Corruption Prevention
Overview What we can do

E-security refers to the process of ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of electronic information and protecting it against attackers either for criminal, malicious or competitive purposes. The security protocols of confidentiality, integrity and availability are the fundamental elements underpinning all business IT systems, with the additional elements of authentication, accountability and non-repudiation further necessary where financial or contractual exchange between businesses are concerned.

There are several important factors to remember about e-Security strategy and information risk management:

1. The function of e-Security is not to remove risk completely, but to assess and work towards achieving an acceptable level of risk.
2. Managing information risk must be undertaken on a continuous basis.
3. It is inevitable that e-Security systems will be breached at some point, regardless of existing security measures.

Information technology is constantly growing and changing and organizations must adapt to ensure information security against malicious attackers who are also evolving with the technology. Therefore, it is the job of e-Security management to continually evaluate and refine e-Security strategy to keep current with technology.
